We offer a broad range of services for the Model Railroader.
RAILMILES:
Our Frequent Buyer Rewards Program, RAILMILES, is
simple, all that's needed is a qualifying $250. purchase to join
and offers many advantages, including:
(1) - 7% off any regularly price item*
when paying cash or by debit card and having a valid RAILMILES card.
(*does not include magazines, brass, sale, special, clearance or consignment items)
(2) - Annual credit rebates
awarded on all yearly (Jan-Dec) purchases. These credit rebates accumulate on
every purchase you make. There are No credits issued for accounts with less
than $500 in yearly purchases. Rebates can only be used during the month of
June, the year following their accumulation, after which they expire.
(3) - Personal invitation to annual RAILMILES customer appreciation Open House in June
and Anniversary Celebration in September. (Including some specials of 2X and 3X
Discount)
(4) - Automatic yearly renewal provided a minimum of $250. in purchases has been made in the current calendar
year.
Please note, credit rebates are not transferable. Credit
Valley Railway Company reserves the right to cancel or revoke RAILMILES credit
rebates and cards at any time without prior notification.
Mail Order:
Can't make it to the store, all items we carry can be
shipped to you! Just phone our toll free order line at 1-800-464-1730,
have all your shipping and payment information ready as well as all the product
codes and descriptions you require. You can also print out our web order form (Click here for web order form )and fax in your order to us. Canadian customers
(with street addresses) have their parcels shipped UPS
insured, USA and overseas customers are shipped Expedited parcel rate from
Canada Post unless otherwise specified. For any returns, contact us for a RA#.
All orders or partial orders returned without, will be refused. Delivery charges
are non-refundable. Applicable Taxes Extra -
Ontario 5%GST+8%PST
Outside Ontario 5%GST; Maritime Provinces 13%HST; USA No Tax
Special Orders:
If you don't see an item you want, let us know, we can get it! We
require a 25% deposit and complete details of what you're after. Once processed, special orders are
Non-refundable.
Engine pre-order Deposits are Non-refundable once delivery of item(s) has been made to CVR. Engine pre-order Deposits can be transferred to other items before delivery but may be subject to a 10% cancellation fee.
Brass reservations require a 50% deposit at the time of order. Your money will be returned in full if, and only if, your reservation cannot be filled by the manufacturer.
Layaway Policy:
We will be happy to hold in-stock item(s) for you. We require a
50%
Non-refundable deposit at time of Layaway. Items will be held for a maximum
of 15 days. After 15 days, the deposit will be forfeited and the item(s) returned to the
sales floor. Layaways are not available on sale, special, clearance or
consignment items. We do not trade or barter.
Return Policy:
All returns must be made within ten (10) business days. All items must have the original sales receipt, our price tag, package and contents intact with
no evidence of tampering or improper usage. Exchange only after 10 days. All returns are subject to 15% restocking fee. All sales are final on
any opened Train Set of any scale as well as all clearance, used, consignment (code L) and collectible
items. Computer software, CD's, videos and books are non-returnable.
For mail order returns, contact us for a RA#. All orders or partial
orders returned without, will be refused. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
Parts and Repairs:
Whether it's a full-blown rebuild or a simple or basic cleaning, we offer both the parts inventory and the know-how to get the job done right.

Older Trains:
Lionel, American Flyer and Marx Products are a specialty.
DCC Installations:
Decoder & Sound Installations, Email for current prices.
Coupler Conversions, Tune-ups, Custom Painting:
Coupler Install:$10+; Basic Engine Paint & Decal: $150+
Basic freight car Paint & Decal: $75+
We even do Corporate Gift Train Assembly and displays.

Appraisals and Estate Services:
Item appraisal fee for many model Railroaders, this hobby is more than a life-long passion; it's a life-long investment. We can help verify and protect the value of your collection, whether for insurance or estate reasons. Believe you found a treasure in an attic or at a flea market? We can help with the Mystery.

Consignment Sales:
Do you have trains you no longer want? We can turn them into cash. Put your items or whole collection in front of buyers who want them. We can appraise and set pricing or sell for what you want. Our fee is only 25% of the Selling price.
Brass and O Gauge only being accepted at this time.
Clinics:
From time to time throughout the year, we hold small information clinics on various aspects of the hobby. Things like Airbrush techniques, diesel Super-Detailing, Scenery techniques. These Sessions are always free as well as being good fun.
